iPhone 12 foldable design

If I were Apple, I would hire this designer right away. What you see here is the concept iPhone 12, which shows what Apple’s flagship store would look like if it decided to make a collapsible version. It seems that many people like this view of the future, as bad.not.bad’s Instagram clip has nearly a million videos on Instagram. Yes, it’s not true, but here are two things that shame Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip, and Apple should really adopt it. The biggest difference between the iPhone 12 concept phone and the Galaxy Z Flip is the external display. The Z Flip features a 1-inch OLED panel with a compact size, while the iPhone 12’s design gives you a larger area to interact with the app when the phone is turned off. The galaxy Z Flip’s external display is largely limited to notification and display times, and although you can take selfies using the panel, the space is too narrow to pull it out precisely during composition. Another cool part of the iPhone 12 design is the way the hinges work. Sliding up on the left side of the display automatically expands the phone, so you don’t have to worry about showing the larger display with both hands. It’s hard to tell from the video, but it looks like you’re just gently pressing your phone in and suddenly closing it. Just a few days ago, we learned that Apple may be less than a year away from releasing its first collapsible phone. The source is a glass expert who has some knowledge of Corning’s plan, the company that makes gorilla glass. There is also other evidence that Apple is developing collapsible phones. Apple has won a patent for a three-part folded iPhone and another for heating a flexible display, making it less brittle when used in cold environments. No one knows whether Apple will move in that direction with the iPhone 12 or more likely the iPhone 13, but it’s a fascinating look.
